Did you know? I have another blog, your new sister. It’s where I post my poetic musings about my journey with God. I’m honestly much more fond of that trusted, old outlet, even though posts may be scarce! I’ve given thought to consolidating the blogs, and I’ve even imported some of my blog over (what you find in the category “Searching” minus the lyrics/chords). Yet, I don’t know what it is that makes me want to keep some of those posts exclusive to that blog.. oh what to do! Would you rather have me post all in one place? *sigh*…
*UPDATE!!* So…. as I mention in the post below, I started this post about four months ago, and when I finally published it (March 5), I had no inkling that the following day (March 6), Lisa would actually release a single of the song! Produced by Justin Rizzo, it’s available on bandcamp and available to preview below. Also, the chords below are still the same. Yay Jesus!

“Put me anywhere, just put Your glory in me. I’ll serve anywhere, just let me see your beauty…”
To say this with all honesty is the indicator of an un-abandoned heart. A heart that has not wrapped itself around a man-made hope, a personal dream, but has wrapped itself in the dream of God’s heart. It moves at His will, it waits for His will, and finds joy and peace in the moments of surrender and trust. All the while, declaring – “All is for Your glory!” It’s been resounding in my spirit for a while now (as in… the draft for this post started four months ago..).

All my life, for Your Glory
I watched an archive of Rachel Culver’s Worship in the Word (Feb 28, 10 pm) session at the International House of Prayer. She played a beautiful set, including Ginny Owens’ “If You Want Me To” and “All Is for Your Glory,” a song by Intercessory Missionary Lisa Gottshall, and sung by Laura Hackett and Cory Asbury (coming soon!).
But the song that is repeating in my heart is one that I don’t know if Rachel Culver wrote, but I hear it often in her sets, and I love it so much! ”You’re so faithful, You’re so kind…. So from now I’ll keep trusting, I’ll keep holding on to You… I’ll believe the way You’re leading me is good.” Amen!
The song is played in the Key of A.
**Update April 2012. It was in later sets in March/April that I heard the actual “verses,” so I made sure to add those in. Second line, first verse edited – Hooray! And I also found an audio of it on YouTube. Blessings!

Resounding in my spirit: Longing for the New Jerusalem by Matt Gilman. Heard this while watching the OneThing 2011 conference (so glad they have archives for those who can’t make it!) at IHOP-KC. Posted lyrics & chords, but of course, you can do without the modulation; and in “Better is One Day,” the “A Chord” is optional :)

what better way to ease into blogging again, than to post the lyrics of a song that will frequent my spirit, and resonate incessantly! here’s the thing about this song: for months, all i could recall was a woman’s voice singing, “tell me, You who my soul loves, where can i find you?… sweep me away!” – to no avail of ever hearing the whole song again.
then during an Intercession set at the International House of Prayer (Sept 25, 10am; if you’re looking for the song, it’s around 1:45 in), i heard Rachel Culver’s amazingly anointed worship set… to find that the song stuck in my head was probably a prophetic variation because these lyrics are what they’re actually singing. it’s all still good! By the by, with formatting, the chords may not end up over the right words, but if you recognize the song, you’ll know where the chords go ;) ENJOY.
